POLICE 0-0 BRIGHT STARS: Another point collected takes us closer to keeping our league status in the top flight

Azam Uganda Premier League

Bright Stars FC collected yet another valuable point off Police FC at Mandela National stadium, Namboole on Tuesday afternoon in the Azam Uganda Premier League.

Having drawn (0-0) with Kirinya Jinja SS on Tuesday last week, Fred Kajoba’s Lato Milk and Ferro Mobile sponsored Bright Stars went into the match looking to pick another three points like they did against the same opponents in the first round in Mwererwe. Bright Stars taught Police FC a lesson in December of 2016 with a 3-0 win.

The match at Namboole saw Police create chance after chance but with keeper Nichoals Sebwato between the posts, no ball crossed the goal line.

Kajoba named an attack minded team once again with Fred Segujja leading the frontline together with Jungu Methodious, Martin Kivumbi and Banga Faruku all in the starting XI.

Davies Mutebi-former player of Bright Stars was keeping the posts for Police FC in the game that ended 0-0.

Bright Stars will return to action against Vipers on 2nd May at the intimidating Champions Stadium in Mwererwe.
