With our head coach Fred Kajoba set to be on the sidelines for four matches following a decision by the Uganda Premier League to band him for alleged use of abusive language towards a referee Denis Batte on the opening day of the season on Tuesday against Vipers, the Bright Stars FC Management is confident of the technical set at the club.
‘We were shocked by the decision of Uganda Premier League to ban our Head coach without giving him a chance for natural justice of a fair hearing. The FUFA Investigatory and Judicatory bodies would have helped in getting the truth on such an alleged incident by the FIFA referee and decisions on matters committed in the open or closed places’ said the Bright Stars FC CEO Mathias Mugwanya.
‘The club will not lodge an appeal but it is important for the Uganda Premier League to always give clubs or individuals fair hearings for natural justice to prevail in such cirmustances’
We would like our fans and players to know that we have a good technical team in the absence of Kajoba.
Paul Kiwanuka-a CAF B licensed coach will take charge for the games against Soana, Mbarara City, Kirinya Jinja SS and UPDF for the period Kajoba will be away from the touchline.
