Bright Stars FC has a strong connection in the Cranes camp in Kakamega as our head coach Fred Kajoba is in charge of the goalkeeping department while former captain Muwanga Bernard and Joseph Nsubuga are also in Kenya. The quartet of Senkatuka, Muwanga, Nsubuga and Kajoba were in Ethiopia two years ago when Uganda Cranes won the CECAFA Cup.

Uganda Cranes play again on Friday 8th Dec against South Sudan and later on Sunday with Ethiopia.
