Three Bright Stars FC Junior Team players have been named in the starting XI of Uganda U17 team to play against Ethiopia in CAF U17 qualifiers tournament in Dar es Saalam, Tanzania on Sunday.

Uganda U17 head coach Peter Onen went for Ekelot Ibrahim and Sekajja Davis in the midfield of the park while Samson Kasozi will feature in the centre back with skipper Kizito Gavin Mugweri.

Ekelot, Sekajja and Kasozi play for Bright Star FC Junior Team in the FUFA Juniors League. They are also students of the famous Royal Giants School that has won almost every trophy in football competitions in Mityana and represented their region in the National football finals.

The youngsters have a dream of playing at the CAF U17 Finals and later the FIFA U17 World cup next year.
The best nation will qualify in the CAF U17 finals to be hosted in Tanzania in May 2019.

Uganda U17 will play against South Sudan in the second Match on Friday 17th, Kenya on 19th and Djibouti on 22nd August.
