Bright Stars FC continued with its impressive run in the league picking a point off Express FC on Tuesday.
The team has lost once this season (against KCCA FC) and scored the most number of goals (14).
Despite missing head coach Fred Kajoba who is away on national team duty with the Uganda Cranes,  his assistant Paul Kiwanuka ably filled the void to put up a good performance.
The visitors broke the deadlock as early as the 9th minute through striker Eric Kambale.
However this did not stop Bright Stars from showcasing their new brand of football as they looked the better side in terms of possession and creating chances.

Brian Kayanja had a penalty appeal turned down in the 19th minute when he was brought down by Express FC skipper Julius Ntambi but centre referee Ali Sabila waved for play on.
The forward however levelled matters later on with a powerful shot going into the right top corner of the net.
A long ball from Enock Walusimbi was headed into Kayanja’s path and the robust striker made no mistake to fire home.
The Stars kept surging forward even after recess with Kayanja and captain Nelson Senkatuka putting the visitor’s back line on tenter hooks.

Dan Birikwalira who played as a left wing back also had a good performance with his numerous crosses always troubling the visitors.
The coach made changes midway through the second stanza with John Kokas Opejo and Methodius Jjungu replacing Andrew Kaggwa and Mahad Kissekka respectively. Later on Henry Kiwanuka paved way for Rajab Kakooza.
