Despite drawing with BUL FC 1-1 in the StarTimes Uganda Premier League, head Coach Fred Kajoba guaranteed that Bright Stars FC will maintain the unbeaten record at home in Mwererwe.

‘We have lost 2 points at home but we shall maintain our unbeaten run at home this season and we shall do our best to win the coming fixture. Nothing can stop us from achieving our success in the league’ said head coach Kajoba

Bright Stars FC has never lost at home this season nevertheless the Stars have managed 2 wins and 3 draws in the 5 matches played at home.

Senkatuka nets his 6th goal in League:

In the match against BUL FC, Nelson Senkatuka scored the only goal in the game for Bright Stars FC in the 57th minute before BUL’s Deogracious Ojok cancelled the lead 5 minutes later.

However, in the early stages of the game, Senkatuka’s strike was controversially disallowed for offside after his shot had already hit the net.

The Stars upholds top four places:

Bright Stars FC is 4th with 19 points, one loss from the 10 games played so far. The improved performance this season has brought in big results with an enormous goal margin. Bright Stars FC is the second best scoring Club with 18 goals from 10 games.
