Bright Stars suffered the second loss this season falling 1-0 away to Police FC in the game played on Wednesday at StarTimes stadium, Lugogo.

The team had a torrid evening failing to find the cutting edge despite having many attempts at goal.

Winger Methodius Jjungu had the first attempt of the game in the 14th met but Police FC goalkeeper Davies Mutebi parried it away for a corner.

The lone goal of the game came in the 26th minute through Simon Mbazira with his ferocious effort going into the roof of the net.

With skipper Nelson Ssenkatuka and Brian Kayanja leading the striking line, they kept troubling Police FC back line but failed to break the breakthrough.

In the second stanza, head coach Fred Kajjoba opted for changes bringing on Henry Kiwanuka and Andrew Kaggwa.

The result means Bright Stars FC remain 5th on the log with 19 points.

Our next game will be at home against URA FC on Sunday.
