Bright Stars FC Skipper Nelson Senkatuka was on target in the 1-1 draw with Onduparaka FC in the first game of the StarTimes Uganda Premier League second round fixture at the Champions Stadium Mwererwe on Saturday evening.

Senkatuka took a long range shot that flew past  Onduparaka goalkeeper Nicholas Sebwato after receiving a pass from Alfred Onek in the 18th minute of the game.

After taking the lead, Bright stars FC continued to press the visitors in the entire 1st half searching to double the figure.

However, the game went into the break with Bright Stars FC leading 1-0. Sulaiman Sebunza playing his first game after a long injury lay off (broke his toe) and goalkeeper Benson Wagima were shown yellow cards in the 25th and 42nd minutes respectively.

In the second half, the vistors got an equaliser through defender Captain Rashid Toha in the 56th minute.

The three attacking forwards Kayanja, Senkatuka and Onek increased pressure on the visiting backline but many chances fell out of target.

The duo made an impact in the final third but their efforts did not yield the much needed goal. The game ended 1-1.
